We’ve had an amazing response so far in summer camp registrations already this year and it’s only the beginning of April! There are only a couple of spots left in our August Try it All Camp as well as our Girls’ Camp. If you are planning on signing up for one of our summer camps, we suggest that now is the time!
We have our Boots & Bridles Draft Horse Camp starting June 19 and it’s our first camp of the summer season! Spend a week with our friendly Percheron draft horses, Sid and Ice, the gentle giants of the horse world! Each day, you’ll have plenty of time to groom, pet and spend time with the horses, while you learn about horse safety, equipment, harnessing and driving a draft horse team. You’ll also learn about the life of an early 20th century logger in Northern Minnesota, take a field trip to Tom’s Logging Camp and go for a carriage ride in Canal Park. And don’t forget–there is plenty of time for swimming, hiking, kayaking, team challenges, rock climbing and meeting our friendly sled dogs. This camp is for all who have completed grades 2-8. Registration is easy online.
Because there is so much interest in our programs for grades K-4, we will be expanding our summer activities through Adventure Club this summer for 9 weeks at Lowell Elementary School, including a Spanish immersion day camp. More information on Summer Adventure Club at Lowell will be coming in the next few weeks.
So, ready to sign up for summer camps? OK! You can start here.
